RE: Report cards

Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you Ramadan Mabrook.

Due to my spending the last week in Malta getting the Grade 12 visas for the ILC examinations, I regret to inform you that the report cards will be delayed until Thursday 8 June 2017. If any reports are ready before Thursday, we will notify the relevant parents of date and time for collection.

I hope you have a wonderful summer holiday and I wish you a safe journey if you are travelling. Good luck to the Grade 12's writing their ILC examinations.

Yours sincerely,

RE: No school on Sunday 26 March

Dear Parents,

We are sad to announce that our school will not resume on Sunday 26 March, as previously thought. We are hoping to resume on Monday 27 March.

The administration of the school has been working hard to resolve the school's internal problems but, as we're sure you're aware, there have been challenges. The main ones being:

We sincerely hope that parents who still owe school fees do their part to help resolve this issue. Payments made in cash could help to speed this process up.

We apologise profusely for all the inconvenience, and would like to express our sincere appreciation for your understanding and co-operation during this time. We hope the children have enjoyed their Spring Break, and are ready to work hard in the last term.

Yours sincerely,

The Academic Office

RE: Holiday Early Start Date -- Monday 13 March

Dear Parents,

We would like to update and inform you regarding the current developments at the school.

First, we would like to reassure 12th grade students and parents that both the academic office and the school management office are working diligently to ensure the security of the Mock examinations scheduled to begin the first week in April. Grade 12 students and their parents will receive a Pre-Leaving Certificate (Mock) Examination schedule. As soon as these are available, they will be posted on the school website.

Second, due to the current financial situation many teachers at both the elementary and high school level are striking. To ensure the safety of students and to preserve the academic environment of the school, both administrations have decided to break early for the spring holiday. This will give time for the administration to meet teachers to resolve these issues. Students, therefore, will begin the break tomorrow (Monday 13 March).

Also, please note that although teachers have marked (or are marking) the exams for Term 2, due to the strike, report cards will be distributed after the holiday and parent-teacher meetings will also be re-scheduled.

As a school community, we would like to express our appreciation to all teachers, staff and parents for their continued patience and we look forward to seeing you after the holiday.

Please note that the exam schedule may shift slightly due to factors beyond the school's immediate control.

Welcome back to the new school year! We hope it will be a productive one, for your child.

We have a lot of new students and teachers this year; I hope you will join me in welcoming them to our school community!

Please be aware that Sunday or Monday will be a public holiday. To avoid confusion the school will be closed both Sunday, October 2nd, and Monday, October 3rd. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 4th.

We tried working with a longer schedule for the start of the year. Due to parents' complaints we will return to:
